The Triad of Health: Structural, Chemical, Emotional

The 3 principles of healing are referred to as the Triad of Health.

1)Structural Balance: this refers to the alignment of the head, neck, and spinal column.

The Nervous system is the brain, spinal cord and nerves. It is protected by the head, neck, and spinal column. Any structural imbalance can distort or ruin the communication between the brain and the body. This occurs from constant pressure on nerve pathways from structural misalignments. This will begin a disease process or health problem.

Structural Imbalance can cause any organ to fail or become diseased. Every organ shares nerve pathways with muscles. If an organ is abnormal or malfunctioning, a muscle or group of muscles will malfunction(weaken).

2)Chemical Balance: this refers to the nutritional balance in the body.

As your brain directs messages to your body to heal you must have the nutrition in the body ready to use. Any chemical imbalance will inhibit healing and create chronic health problems. If an organ is deficient of nutrients it will attempt to send messages via the nerves to the brain as a indication or warning. Would if the message never arrives? ? ? Sometimes a muscle or group of muscles which share nerve pathways with the organ will become weak . This will lead to further structural imbalance. A vicious cycle.

( Listen to the body’s signals, take action and prevent problems from getting worse.)

3) Emotional Balance- this refers to the emotional balance of the mind.

This part of healing involves complex pathways. The important thing to realize is by correcting the structural and chemical balance, the emotional balance is affected in a positive way. The nervous system is directly affected. Results occur from improving brain-body communication through structural and chemical balance.
